Max Furrier – Profile

I have a degree in Geography from the University of São Paulo (1999), a Master's Degree in Physical Geography from the University of São Paulo (2002) and a PhD in Physical Geography from the University of São Paulo (2007). I was an effective lecturer at the Archeology and Heritage Preservation College of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley (Serra da Capivara Campus), in the 2006-2008 period. Currently, I have been associate professor, level at Department of Geosciences of the Federal University of Paraíba ministering disciplines in the courses of Environmental Engineering and Geography. I have been experience in Geosciences, with emphasis in Geomorphology and Geology, working mainly in the following subjects: structural geomorphology, environmental and urban geomorphology, geomorphological mapping, environmental planning and geoarcheology. I am a member of the Union of Brazilian Geomorphology and a reviewer of the Brazilian Journal of Geomorphology, as well as other national and international journals.
